Mentorship Program
The Genesee County Bar Association is re-instating its Mentorship Program through our committee structure. We are fortunate to practice law in a county where there is special legal talent willing to share their expertise. At the present time the Bankruptcy Committee, Criminal Law and Defender Committee, Family Court Committee, and Probate Committee are willing to have attorneys who will answer questions through email. In addition, the Criminal Law and Defender Committee is introducing a new group called Mastering Criminal Defense. This group will be held once a month and will provide information covering all aspects of criminal defense. There will be a Q&A period at the end of each session. This group is open to all attorneys who practice criminal defense. Watch our Calendar of Events for future sessions. We believe the Mentorship Program will benefit the bar association, the public and attorneys who wish to participate. We appreciate all the hard work of the committees and chairpersons in helping to augment the education of our younger lawyers. No one should be afraid to seek help as there is no such thing as a stupid question. Hopefully, we can all learn from each other and help improve our skills. Bankruptcy Committee Roxane Kaye
