Spring 2013 Admission Ceremony Date: Tuesday, May 28, 2013 Dear New Admittee, On behalf of the Genesee County Bar Association, congratulations on passing the State Bar Examination and your imminent admission to the practice of law. The Association will host an admission ceremony for new admittees on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the courtroom of the Honorable David J. Newblatt, Genesee County Circuit Court, 900 S. Saginaw Street, Flint. If you wish to participate in the ceremony, please complete the registration form below which confirms your attendance, identifies your sponsor, and informs us of the number of guests that will be attending the ceremony. If you do not have a sponsor, we will make arrangements for one to move your admission. A brief biography will be needed in advance of the ceremony. Also, remember to bring with you the following information: 1. A $ 25 check made payable to the Genesee County Clerk to register and receive your identification number 2. Your letter identifying that you passed the Bar Examination Plan on arriving a few minutes early to allow time to meet the bar president and receive final instructions. Finally, please note that cell phones, camera phones, electronic recording devices and cameras will not be allowed in the courthouse, except for attorneys with a bar card, court employees, county, city, state and federal employees on official business or law enforcement officers on official business.
